September 2001 - Bell Telecommunication Philippines, Inc. (BellTel) received company-wide certification for ISO 9001-2000 version Quality Management System (QMS) through certifying body TUV Rheinland Phils. Inc., a first in the local telecommunications industry.
As a requirement of the ISO Quality Management System, BellTel continues to document and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as a means of ensuring that products & services conform to specified requirement. BellTel is committed to the development & implementation of the QMS & continually improving its effectiveness.
Three years after its validity, it was again re-certified by TUV Rheinland Phils. Inc in October 2004 and once again re-certified in October 2007.
As BellTel continues to grow, the pursuit of quality will remain a basic premise of its operations.
BellTel is a Next Generation telecommunication company that uses fixed wireless, fiber optics, hybrid fiber coax and satellite technology in providing the widest broadband coverage in the Philippines, with a special focus on all Central Business Districts and Special Economic Zones.
The company was awarded its ISO certificate by a team of auditors from TUV Rheinland after almost seven months of preparation. ISO certification is awarded to companies that demonstrate a high quality management system capable of achieving total custonmer satisfaction.
ISO, or International Organization for Standardization, is designed to review any company's internal structure and dynamics. ISO certification enables management to determine if corporate quality policies and objectives are met in as effective a manner as possible by employees.
Being ISO-certified means the organization is continually measuring the effectiveness of its processes and ensuring its quality policy and objectives are met.

The company-wide certification covers BellTel's Engineering, Operations, Administration, Finance, and Sales & Marketing Divisions.
