The Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) recently acquired additional Internet bandwidth from local telecommunications provider Bell Telecommunication Philippines, Incorporated (BellTel). This brings the total available bandwidth for MBC to 4 mbps, double what they had previously at 2 mbps.
MBC will be using the Internet connection for their Internet connectivity needs at the MBC head office, as well as communicating with foreign and provincial affiliates for news feeds and special event updates. Aside from Internet service, BellTel also provides the PABX telephone trunks for MBC.
